You work in international projects in the life science and pharmaceutical industry
You are responsible for design and building Big Data solutions in the cloud
Developing optimal system landscape architectures to achieve identified business and technical objectives
As a contact person for our customers you advise in the area of IT and data architecture
You work closely with the engineering and architecture team to ensure long-term solutions
Further responsibilities include the implementation of checklists, test and validation plans
Requirements
Completed studies in computer science, chemistry, bioinformatics or comparable
At least 3 years of experience in developing micro services and cloud architectures
Strong knowledge in more than one of these topics: cloud security, cloud applications, cloud databases, cloud migration and virtualization
Experience in setting up Big Data solutions in the cloud, e.g. Edge Computing, Streaming Analytics, Data Lakes, AI/ML
Experience in leading architectural review sessions with customers and internal project teams
Experience in common programming languages such as Python or Java and related frameworks
Understanding of the DevOps process and deploying applications to the cloud
Certifications in GCP, AWS or Azure is a plus
Excellent written, oral and presentation abilities
