RNA

RNA (ribonucleic acid) represents, in the majority of organisms, the mediator between the genetic information stored in DNA and its implementation into proteins. In addition, RNA can also work as carrier of genetic information, e.g. RNA-virus, or, similarly to proteins, a catalyst of biological reactions.
